There are some fabulous, vibrant restaurants in the area, and each venue has it's own unique flavour and atmosphere.

We've selected a few venues that can be found within a 10km radius of the guesthouse, starting with the nearest, and ending at the furthest away from us. Cape Town is truly a food destination and has a wealth of good restaurants, too plentiful to describe!
Carla's Prawns Prawns here are a must - in fact its either prawns or steak - but they are fabulous! Done in the zesty Mozambiquan style.

The Empire Cafe Situated in a colourful and vibrant corner of Muizenberg, this coffee shop serves fresh continental style cuisine sure to tantalise your taste buds.

K N E A D A stylish cafe style patisserie and restaurant, adjoinging a trendy surf shop. Relax at a table opposite muizenberg beach, and enjoy their gorgeous fresh cakes & pastries and light lunches.

The Coffee Sha Bean A fresh vibrant coffee shop, with great service and good food. Lovely to come in straight off the beach and satisfy your appetite with a delicious brunch and the best choco-chinos in town!

The Octopus Garden The decor here is fantastically quirky. Situated on the main road in St James, the food is delicious and the staff always friendly.

The Brass Bell An absolutely fantastic location!! Enjoy fresh seafood on the famous bikini deck, in the invigorating sea air, right next to the breaking waves of Kalk Bay.

Cape to Cuba A must! An amazing restaurant that you’ll want to visit again and again. Really has one the most unusual and refreshing themes you’ll come across.

Theresa's Restaurant Serves the finest Cape Malay style cuisine. A wonderful relaxed atmosphere with superbly prepared food.

Harbour House A fine reputable restaurant, with crisp white linen and beautiful views. It is well situated within Kalk Bay Harbour and specialises in fresh seafood.

Polana Great atmosphere! Decorated with Indonesian style furniture, an informal, intimate setting. The bar and lounge area look straight out onto the crashing waves. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, and on Saturday nights the restaurant is cleared to make way for a live DJ and dance floor.

Kalky's An Informal vibey, down to earth spot where the local fishermen hang out for the best fish and chips in town at the best prices! Soak up the vibe and watch the boats coming into the harbour with the catch of the day.
